Overview

Set on a National Trust hill farm overlooking Buttermere, this tranquil experience blends gentle animal encounters, breathtaking scenery and quiet moments just for two.

You’ll meet our friendly goats and Fell Ponies, wander the farm trail with the fells around you, and step into the world of the Lakeland shepherd with a private, farmer-led sheepdog session.

At the end of the day, retreat to your own self-catering apartment in the west wing of our Grade II listed farmhouse and enjoy two peaceful nights on the farm.

• Private guided farm walk (approx. 90 minutes)

  Spend unhurried time in the paddock with our rare-breed goats, learning about their characters and feeding them by hand.
